QPS have successfully carried out Planned Works refurbishment contracts across Hampshire, West Sussex, East Sussex and into Surrey and Wiltshire. Many of these commercial Planned Works projects are in Social Housing schemes where we work for Main Contractors and Local Authorities. We are an Approved Contractor for several Social Housing Associations and their Main Contractors.
Our approach to Planned Works is methodical. We know the pitfalls and understand the restrictions of refurbishing your occupied residences so have developed an excellent philosophy to this type of working. We dedicate a lead multi-trade fitter to each of your properties and this fitter helps to keep the occupier informed and looked after. We build each Planned Works team around the necessary skills for each project but they will all be used to working together as a team as we do not use outside labour. As many of our fitters are true multi-trades building contractors we minimise the number of tradesmen needed inside each individual property, keeping efficiency and resident satisfaction to a maximum. We also strive to open new properties only on Mondays and close on Fridays, again to minimise disruption to your occupants.
The lead fitter will stay on top of your property renovation through to completion and sign off, then move to the next. Our commercial clients are always delighted with the resident feedback they get when using QPS on their Planned Works contracts. Experience shows that tenants like having a fitter they can call their own for a few days!
